Since you are at this webpage, I could perhaps assume that you are thinking of buying Double Your Dating by David DeAngelo. But before you decide to spend $19.97 on the ebook, I'd like to invite you to read this review.

It's really hard for me to say anything negative about David D, especially when he has done so much for the seduction community. On the other hand, I will have to be impartial to be fair to my readers, even though it might turn a little ugly.

As you will see, this is a no-holds-barred review of Double Your Dating - covering both good AND bad points about the book so that you can make your own decision whether to buy or not (although I will be making my recommendation to you...more on this later).

Double Your Dating in a nutshell

The Double Your Dating ebook has its origins from an article by David DeAngelo (under the nickname "sisonpyh") which was published in the Cliff's List newsletter a few years ago.

The article was an immediate hit and was widely discussed in the seduction community. David D then decided to expand the article into what is Double Your Dating ebook today.

The Double Your Dating 90-pages ebook is in PDF format and has nine chapters under three major sections -

Section 1 - How To Think About Success With Women - David D delves into why women behave like they do, and the importance of inner game.  This is a marked difference from some dating gurus who prescribe 'magic bullet' solutions such as canned routines, lines and openers.

Section 2 - How To Communicate With Women - The nuts and bolts of Double Your Dating. Here David D introduces his patented concept of "cocky funny".  David D also gives pointers on non-verbal communications ie body language.

Section 3 - Exactly What, When And How - More tips and tricks on how to fascinate women (learn cold reading, cook a few meals, etc). Some solid stuff on the approach, email and number closing. Inevitably, there are sections on physical escalation and maintaining long term relationships.

Enough of an overview. Now let's get  lown down and dirty on the juicier stuff of what's hot and what's not about the ebook.

Now here is what's good about Double Your Dating

  • The ideas  in Double Your Dating can be used either as a starting point for those who are new to the dating game, or enhance the skills of those who are more established in the field. 
  • No matter what "school of seduction" you belong to (Mystery Method? Speed Seduction? Direct Method? Natural Game?), the techniques in Double Your Dating work well with any other seduction philosophies out there.
  • There is no need to memorize any kinds of canned lines,  or learn hypnosis tricks and speed seduction patterns that would probably take a master's degree in psychology to pull off (no joke).
  • Not to discredit other seduction systems out there, David D's ideas are probably 'healthier' than most other systems, and one could often find that all aspects of his life improve with the ideas in this book (also known as the 'Spillover Effect' within the dating community).
  • The bonus books that come with Double Your Dating - "Bridges", "Sex Secrets" and "Eight Personality Types" - all previously sold for ten bucks a pop - are now free with Double Your Dating. In addition to those, three free audios featuring interviews with dating gurus. Excellent value for money.
  • You can actually read the book for free for 7 days, and only if you decide to keep it then you'll be billed for the book. You can even get to keep the books so there's probably no better guarantee policy than this.

Here is what's not-so-good about Double Your Dating

  • Firstly, while there are lots of amazing ideas in the book, there is no easy-to-follow structure (think Mystery's M3 model).  I finished this book with my brain brimming with lots of new insights, but I remained stuck because I just simply didn't know where to start. 
This is fine if you are already a master PUA (pickup artist), but most of us will find a 'roadmap' or a step-by-step system to be very useful indeed.
  • And secondly, it would be tremendously helpful if  there is a private forum amongst 'practitioners' of Double Your Dating to exchange ideas and experiences. Other products have their own 'Mastermind' communities, most notably Mystery's Lounge, Speed Seduction on Yahoo Groups, and Real Social Dynamics' private forums. 
Often, these Mastermind groups are more valuable than the products themselves as the ideas get applied in the field and further validated, improved and updated by the members of the group.

So, Derek, is Double Your Dating worth buying after all?


Despite the two 'shortcomings' above, Double Your Dating is still worth the $19.97 investment in my opinion, simply because I have field-tested David DeAngelo's stuff, and it plainly works.

It's a shame, though, because there will be plenty of guys who will simply be overwhelmed by the wealth of information in the ebook, and without a proper system they could never really put the things they learn into practice.

Which brings me to my next point...
